The Next Generation of Swimming Takes the Stage at the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships

This week, some of the most talented young swimmers in the world are diving into one of the biggest international junior swim meets of the year: the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

Held August 17–20 at the UBC Aquatic Centre in Vancouver, Canada, the competition brings together elite swimmers from across the Pacific and beyond for four exciting days of racing. The meet is open to swimmers from non-European World Aquatics federations, with athletes competing in the Olympic pool events.

Future Stars Are in the Pool

One of the best things about Junior Pan Pacs is getting a glimpse at swimmers who may become the next generation of Olympic stars.

Team USA has brought a talented roster of young athletes from swim clubs across the country. The American team includes 20 women and 20 men, with swimmers representing programs from California to Florida and everywhere in between.

These athletes are only 13 to 18 years old, yet they've already reached the level where they're representing their country on an international stage.

That's pretty incredible.

But behind every race are thousands and thousands of hours in the water.
