Swimming Isn’t Just for Summer: Active COCO Joins The Plunge’s Glow + Float Halloween Bash

Just because fall is here doesn’t mean swimming season has to end! While the air may be getting cooler, the poolside fun is still heating up—whether you’re cruising through the Caribbean, lounging at a resort in Hawaii, or diving into the iconic Plunge in San Diego. Water adventures never really go out of season, and last Friday proved it when Active COCO joined in on The Plunge’s 5th Annual Glow + Float Pumpkin Patch Halloween Bash.

The event transformed The Plunge into a glowing pumpkin wonderland—truly one of San Diego’s most unique and family-friendly Halloween celebrations. Guests swam through a floating pumpkin patch lit up with neon hues, walked the Orange Carpet in their best costumes for a chance to win prizes, and snapped photos in the spooky Bat Cave and colorful Candied Pumpkin Wall.

There was fun for everyone—kids and adults alike tackled the Aqua Jungle floating obstacle course, danced to a live DJ, and enjoyed games, crafts, face painting, and giveaways. The Pumpkin Cold Plunge was another favorite—equal parts eerie and refreshing (and definitely Instagram-worthy).

Glowing accessories, festive treats, and nonstop laughter filled the evening. It was the perfect reminder that pool days aren’t just for summer—and that a splash of fun and a little glow can make fall just as magical.
