Active COCO is a brand built on movement, adventure, and taking fitness to another level without ever compromising hair or overall health. While our roots are firmly planted on pool decks and in the ocean, the heart of our brand extends far beyond the water. That belief came to life this January when founders Katelyn and Michelle traded the heated pools of San Diego for crisp mountain air and snow-covered landscapes on an epic girls trip to Big Sky, Montana.
With 17 amazing women along for the journey, the trip was less about escaping routine and more about fully leaning into what it means to live an active lifestyle in every season. Big Sky welcomed us with towering peaks, fresh snowfall, and an immediate reminder that movement looks different depending on where you are, but the mindset stays the same. Swimmers may spend hours chasing black lines in the pool, but adventure and endurance take many forms, whether it’s climbing through snow, carving down a mountain, or hiking toward a frozen waterfall.
Our days were filled with unforgettable experiences that challenged our bodies and recharged our spirits. We raced through snowy terrain while dog sledding, hiked to breathtaking frozen waterfalls, and soaked up the stillness that only mountains can offer.
Trips like this are a big part of why Active COCO exists. Our products weren’t created in isolation — they were born from real experiences in sun, salt water, chlorine, wind, travel, dry air, and now snow. Being immersed in different environments reminds us why we prioritize clean, effective ingredients and simple routines that work no matter where life takes you.
